Mrs. Melissa Marino

Subject: Speech-Language Pathologist
Email: Melissa Marino

My name is Melissa Marino and I have been working at CHCS since August 2006. I received my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron in May 2006. I feel honored to be joining the staff of CHCS.

I provide assistance to children who may need help in many different areas of communication including receptive language (listening and following directions) and expressive language (speaking). For example, a student may have trouble remembering directions given by his/her teacher, saying certain sounds, or using spoken language in the classroom. Good communication skills are an important piece of becoming a successful learner.

I am at the North Campus on Tuesdays and Thursday. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
