Mrs. Laura Wilson

Grade: Pre-K
Email: Mrs. Laura Wilson

My name is Laura Wilson. My association with Chapel Hill Christian School began through the ministry of the North Campus to two of my children, John (13, now an alumnus) and Emma (10, now in 5th grade). Krista (16), our oldest child is a junior at CVCA. My husband, John, a Chapel Hill alumnus, is a Pastor and involved at CHCS in coaching, speech meet and chapel from time to time. I received a BA in Applied and Fine Arts from Akron University in 1983. I worked as an interior designer for three years after which I joined the family trucking business in administration and compliance. I have been blessed to serve children and adults as a teacher and speaker in the work of the Lord through churches and schools in which I have served together with my husband.

I was fortunate to be mentored, on the job, for three years by Cathy Shafer while serving as her kindergarten aide at Chapel Hill North. I am thrilled to be serving at the Green Campus this year. My prayer for the children God has given me is that each of them will be equipped for the academic life that lies ahead and that they each will be "rooted and grounded" in God's love in Christ. I count it an authentic privilege to minister as teacher in the lives of pre-kindergarten children; they are a significant blessing of God to my life.
